Outed on F*c*book
« on: July 29, 2020, 11:48:57 PM »

Friends...

My Gustav Wind YTube channel subscriber list has ballooned since Ellison gave me an excessively kind mention.  I'd like to thank everyone and would not be loathe to dialog with folks, but it will have to be here rather than there as I have  pre-existing objections to that platform and their (lack of) ethics.  So...

Thanks to Martin and all the new subscribers.  Your comments are excessively kind.

If anyone wishes to contact me directly, my e-mail address may be found in my Melnet profile.

Long live Melnet!

I know curiosity killed the cat, but I can't help asking you where the 'Gustav Wind' alias on youtube came from?

BTW I'm impressed with your commitment to avoid FB, as I lack the fortitude to forgo its subtle attractions.

I've always enjoyed word play and linguistic improv.  Gustav Wind is just another in a long line of pseudonyms:

Arthur Mometer
Walter Wallcarpeting
Oliver dePlace
Bob Zhurunkl

A piscine acquaintance once said the same thing regarding the bait I used.  Tasty little friend...

It's all about the Music.  It's neither the player nor the notes.  I am nothing, Music is everything.

The better the player, the more modest they become.  (:)

Can attest to Dick being the most genuine of musical mentors. Admittedly enjoying the responses, thanks Martin for sharing with your broader community.
