National Accordion Convention - Texas
« on: January 23, 2008, 04:53:00 PM »

Hi y'all,

It's almost time again for the National Accordion Convention, which takes place March 12th through March 16th in Plano, Texas (right outside of Dallas).  It looks like it will be a pretty good convention with lots going on and plenty of diatonic music.

Cost is $150 a person and listed room rates if reserved before February 25th are $85 a night.  Reserving after that means paying $119 a night.   My workshop this year is on stage fright and how to overcome it.  I'm also set up to video folks and put them up on youtube, so that people who don't have access to a video camera or know how to go about it, can get themselves out there for the masses.

We always have a really good time, and by the time it's over, we are exhausted and ready to get home and get far away from all the piano accordions.  If you live anywhere that's close enough, come and have a good time and stay up all night with us.

Kay
