Here's my first ever attempt at a TOTM. Bit late due to Witney followed by (but unconnected to) Carpal Tunnel operation on my right hand 10 days ago (hence bandage). Not sure I should be playing (some of you may agree after watching it) but it feels OK, possibly not when I punched the computer while trying to upload. I'm blaming the bit where it goes wrong towards the end on post-oprative tendon malfunction, so there.

But the really clever stuff was the sync with the dance clip - now how's that done?!

Yes I agree, Craigus was excellent and got things off to a great start early on.

Adorable! The dulcimer and box together give the tune a very nostalgic 'far away' air.

Maybe my favorite renditions. The dulcimer gave it more interest.

A lovely version, Rees. I liked not only the way you played it but also the way you adopted a facial expression appropriate to mourning for the poor Inconnu.  ;)

So here's my humble attempt. Another duet (with Klaus on the Banjo). It took me the whole weekend to get a video, this is probably take number 586!!

I'm now two tunes richer and looking forward to Decembers TOTM :|||: :|||:

Well it's a very rushed effort as I'm off out to play for some Swedish dancers in a few minutes. Had to join Youtube and get it into English too.  First video I've made of myself too. Bloody hell ! What a work up.

Well I have been trying for 4 weeks but still haven't got it right so have had to fall back on the Dancemaster 1 row where you don't have to think about the basses.

http://www.onmvoice.com/play.php?a=10843

I don't regret the effort trying to get it right.
