Having been to my first one last year and enjoyed it so much, I am really sad that a work commitment prevents me from being there this year.  I am so jealous of you all!  Hope it's another fantastic event.  Just think of absent friends!

The Friday night sessions are open to any instrument. We've even had fiddle players there!

As I am stuck in deepest darkest Austria I can't see the paper work and am concerned by a couple of references in this thread to no Friday session or bring your own beer. Please someone set my mind at rest  (:)

Because of the numbers they have arranged a session  :||: in the Henry Box school for Friday evening. With some limited amount of beverage.  :|glug  So bring your own is advised.

so do I bring the Dony, so I can pay the more intricate tunes better, and have extra notes, or the pokerwork so I can drown everyone out? (I swear I still havent heard a melodeon played as loud as that thing in my hands!!!)

I'm bringing a D/G a G/C  for use (and a C/F for sale). I'll try to respect D/G playable keys but otherwise make a judgement what box to use.  In the lessons I guess it wil be better to stick to D/G.

....unless you're in Rees' workshop, in which case he'll chop your fingers off if you play in those keys, because everything is in A or F#minor.  :o
