Yes, I dread thrift  too....makes it hard to sell melodeons.
Sign of the World economic downturn, I'm afraid.   >:(

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

No, probably not.  I just looked out of the window and everything was dark, so I could see neither the church clock or the changing tide.  It's really very difficult to tell....

Careful,  two posts on the same subject. We're in danger of having a thread here.

Drift on...

Its time we had a spelling thread.  Whitney Houston,  Witney Oxfordshire, and how many English people can correctly pronounce Strathaven?

Assuming you meant:

What's happening at Witney?

When I left 1 hour ago 199 melodeon players were all playing different tunes with different levels of skill and dexterity in one room. The true Witney sound!

Or a pronunciation thread. There are some real traps in that.
Funzie pronounced Finnie!
