My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

It's OK to skiddle on the central line. It's only on the northern line you can't skiddle unless clause 4 was quoted when on the metropolitan line.

But the Westfield Bridge Rule lays down that when the Metropolitan Line is closed over part but not all of it's length that Clause 4 instead applies to the lines which have seven letters or less.

Now to fill it with accordion music!

Wonderful, curious what the English take on it is.

I'm reading Our Mutual Friend - brilliant.

Little Dorrit - the book that is - is my favourite. Read it twice in two months.

Do melodeons or music feature much in any Dickens? I've not noticed it. Crops up a bit in Thomas Hardy though.
