Excuse me - The North has 'always' (since the dark ages at least) started at the border of Mercia and Northumbria , which is Lym brook, the south western border of Sheffield (until it was moved 5 miles further into Derbyshire after WW2 - the border that is)
Hence those of us born in Sheffield are Northerners (the first Northerners if you are from the South)
Melodeons oop North also a nice lunatic acronym.
As an exile in Dorset Melodeons in Huddersfield would be a joy too great to avoid. A 2 day drive with stopover for Marston's Pedigree in Ashbourne

I live just 1/2 mile north of the Limb Brook. Phew! That was a close call!

Thanks for the good wishes from Silkstone Guy. Having my leg stiches out this afternoon. Shoulder is still very painfull, but hoping to sort out some physio soon. With a bit of luck hope to be back playing by time practices resume after christmas.

They mend. My own left should broke in 3 places when I parted compant from my bike but it's OK now. Try not to break a bone into a joint. Much worse, and an excellent early start to arthritis. $:-\$
