Okay, okay...it's a little longer than a standard briefcase (the length of a bow).  And my concertina bag is a little fatter than standard briefcase...

What I'm getting at is the wonderful utility of the "double case"...and my newly found solution to employ such for my concertinas..

I agree with you totally about multi cases. I was just hoping beyond hope that possibly somebody had found a way round the current minimal length of a fiddle case. I had heard that somebody had been discussing foldable bows and wondered if they had become practical. We shall never achieve the practical portability of the melodeon I'm afraid.  :'( (Did this last sentence bring my screed back within the bounds of this thread again?)

I'm a Yorkie!
My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

Indeed--I, too, am made very happy by playing the melodeon! :P
