Is there anyway to alert one to the fact you have a new PM without having to go and look like in the:

Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
Total time logged in: 2 hours and 33 minutes.

All right so I should have noticed the My Messages bit changes to show you you have new messages. It's called RTFM where I work.
