Now it's been officially released, Leveret's (Andy Cutting/Rob Harbron/Sam Sweeney) new album 'New Anything' is now on Spotify...

Forgive me if I have missed it in this thread so far but I have been enjoying an album on S by Five Men in a Boat. In combination with the Amazing Slowdowner app it has been a good place to learn Otis Thomas' The New Land. Features Emmanuel Pariselle.

Hadn't he really not been mentioned?

Quite a few tracks by Sir Jimmy Shand, enjoying a lively Polka at this very moment... (:)

Not specifically a recording, but I have curated a large Breton playlist on Spotify that goes heavy on the melodeon. Great shuffle play listening.

I was actually looking for more playlists with music we melodeonists might like. melodeon-related? western-European trad? Northern-European trad? Any thoughts?

What I've done in the past is to use their "radio" feature to pull up related stuff. Recently it has been La Chavannee as the band name to bring up lots of bal folk: Blowzabella, Naragonia, a number of the other French groups with diatonic accordion.

don't know whether or not its been mentioned on here before but the CD 'sook and blaw' by Ythan music trust is well worth a listen ( not sure if its stillavailable but if not maybe worth trying ebay.
Melodeon, harmonica and concertina classics from 1907 to 1935 includes tracks by William Hannah,, will powrie saniel and peter wyper, alec Bisset, jimmy shand  etc etc.

Revising an old thread here, but the 2 Duo Absynthe CD's (melodeon/guitar duo) featuring Aurelian Claranbaux have just been released on Spotify. A 3rd CD is apparently on the way too.

Personal taste I know, but I reckon this stuff is as good as it gets.

Oh nice thread. Let me add something to the collection:

https://open.spotify.com/artist/0X7wXOY14a3jhx2L4bFhrF

Duo Brotto-Milleret recently released their album, too!

I can finally enjoy this! Been waiting for it for... maybe two years? Well, since they've uploaded their teaser to youtube. Too lazy to search it. Definitely feels like forever.

Two albums with the Breton melodeon player Timothée Le Net (one of my favorite melodeon player I think) :

His second album with his band, playing his own compositions but also music from Erik Satie, Richard Galliano or Chilly Gonzales :

He also appears on this folk-song album: https://open.spotify.com/album/3QRCrnQAQf3KofeqIjkrBc
