Very impressive and congratulations -very nice playing and dancing.

How can anyone talk about the cost of a melodeon after seeing such a performance.

What fine performances. And how sweet to play and dance for the old folks. They are often overlooked as an audience in today's frenzy to impress the 'right crowd'. I play once a month for a group of oldsters, and they certainly are appreciative of having someone come and entertain them, and also quite forgiving about wrong notes, etc. What's important is giving out some small measure of joy to them. Great job, Reeds, and the kids are tops! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks JW - yes you are right - the people in the assisted living centers are very appreciative audiences - it's been a great experience for us, learning how to prepare and perform in front of an audience. I would encourage everyone to work up a 30 minute set and just contact a local nursing home - they would really appreciate to hear any kind of live, old time music -

Good stuff, thanks for posting, the girls did a good job. The music was fun, the Paolo sounds good as well, with just the right amount of wet tuning.

I've done enough Irish in my past to recognise the right "jig" speed for dancing - that looked dead right. Well done Reeds. All best T.

And nice supportive but unobtrusive piano backing.

Brought back many memories of when I used to play for Irish dancing. That playing sounds just right. And that foot rhythm is what I try and replicate when I'm playing spoons. (Is there no end to my talent?)
