Garmon
« on: April 12, 2010, 03:19:38 PM »

As some of you may recall, sometime ago I converted the bass of my GCF to a Trichord layout, which turned out to be very successful.  I then made-up reed blocks for a three row CBA and replaced the GCF reed blocks with them which was also very successful.

However, I have for some time been looking at the Garmon layout and decided I would make-up some reed blocks so that I could try it out and since I would now have a spare row I added a row of accidentals.  I really like this system for one main reason; I dont seem to run out of fingers.

I thought I had attached a keyboard layout but I haven't got the hang of it yet. I'll try again.

Have a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garmon
