Help - any Music Sessions in N Lancs / S Cumbra
« on: April 27, 2010, 06:47:25 PM »

Hello,  Can anyone recommend any "English" music sessions in N Lancs / S Cumbria ( Lancaster / Kendal areas ) ?  I 'm planning a trip to the Lakeland fiddlers session at Stavely but would be interested to hear of any others.  I'll  be in  the area from the 5th - 18th June

Thanks

Hello, that nice Mr Ellison here (your fiver's in the post Baz)

There's a regular Thursday evening tune session upstairs in the Gregson Institute in Lancaster http://www.gregson.co.uk/ .
Not exclusively English, very much eclectic. Nice players, nice people, nice beer.

And . . . Paul, is that you?

According to Mr Booth, who may join us later, Golden Lion, AKA Brass Cat, AKA The Whittle..but he gives Sunday.
