Back on thread -- every other Thursday I go to the Asta Fiddle & Accordion Club for an evening of trying to find what keys people are playing in. One of the main reasons behind me getting a B/C box was that the keys played in range from Eb up to E (i.e 8 in all). Some of the music is actually written in those odd keys!!
Who else but a piano accordionist would choose them? Still, it's a challenge - some say I'm challenged enough already.

I find the best way to spend a thursday night in the Northeast is the session at the Crown Inn, Catton, Northumberland. If I'm down south the Bear session in Faversham will do just as nicely  :||:

Revisiting this thread, wishing we'd hung them properly the first time!

Hope you'll excuse this which isn't meant 'party' political and is arguably on topic in this thread.

After one of the mid 1900's elections, a newly returned MP was sat next to (in most versions) Winston Churchill in the House of Commons ...

- What an amazing place!  So small. All your political enemies in front of you!
- My boy, those are political opponents. Your political enemies are behind you    :|glug
