Trek er es uit, Nijmegen, Holland
« on: May 17, 2010, 07:15:26 PM »

Just back from a long weekend in Holland (racing ahead of the ash cloud!).

This is a great event along the lines of Witney, Mendlesham, etc. but even bigger.
16 tutors from Holland, Italy, Catalunya, Norway, Estonia, Belgium plus Roger Watson and myself (England v Wales!).
Three days of workshops (10 in all) which means you really get to know your group.
Showcase, concerts, dances and sessions in every corner and stairwell.
Very well organised by relaxed and friendly volunteer staff.
Here's a video: http://www.harmonicahoek.nl/trekeresuut/archief/2010/video/
Way too much beer, obviously.

Big thanks to the Nijmegen crew. I made a lot of new friends.

I had the good fortune to be in both Mark S's workshops at Mendlesham. Top geyser!
