A jig and a waltz(ish) already ... it's great to see a piece evolving before our ears.

The waltz version set me thinking it would also make a great Tango  :||:  :|||:
....and guess what one of mum's fave ballroom dances is? Tango.
I'd love to hear a tango version.

Don't let her hear this then: http://www.treewind.co.uk/melnet/mp3/grey-tango.mp3

Better go and do some morris tunes and Michael Turner's now...

wow! I love it. That's fab. I think tango-ising it gives it a certain drive it was missing.

I think this piece goes well with another called Malvern Hills.
(It's not because Malvern Hills are always grey!!  >:E)

Anyway, I've put up a version - see what you think.

Cheers

Sarah.... I thought you might like to know that I played your tune Grey Day at a session the other evening and it was received very well. Ah what is that?  ...........so I credited you with writing it (:)  I played it along the lines that Anahata did with the Tango version but a little slower and a couple of moody cords............Tis a fab tune to play thank you...

I played it at the slow session last night. (Sounds so much nicer when its not just me playing on my own.) And got told be several it was a 'nice tune'.
Attempts will be made next time to play the 'B' part as D major on the last time round.
