I SAW A  HOHNER AMATONA IV DELUXE ACCORDION, IT HAD A JACK PLUG IN BASE ARE THEY ALL LIKE THAT. STRANGE IT HAD A LABEL MADE IN  SWITZERLAND, FOR A COMPANY CALLED TAMBURRO IN ENGLAND

The chances are it has or had internal microphones or power bass

I think all Amatonas were made in Switzerland. The one I've just sold certainly was.
The jack socket would have been a later addition.
