Here we go again folks! Vote away! Don't forget to have a go at Rusty Gully or the 'Write a Tune' theme if you haven't already!

Cheers,

Clive

Just out of interest, which version of Old Woman? The Headington (Spiers and Boden) and Fieldtown versions are totally different tunes.

Well, in the spirit of Princess Royal, any version you like! I'm not sure which version the nominator intended, but I suspect the Headington version since that's well known off the Spiers and Boden and Morris On albums...

Cheers,

Clive

I'm too tired to search for all the other tunes today.... I go for another try on Cock of the north.

Both are great tunes.

There are 11 dances (Bidford, Bledington, Brackley, Bucknell, Chipping Campden, Field Town, Headington, Illmington, Kirtlington, Longborough and Sherborne) Plus The Old Woman Who Carried a Broom - Brackley.

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

Isn't that odd? A few days into the voting, I didn't think it had a chance. Then... bam!  :o
