Chamame on the Hohner Club
« on: March 31, 2008, 05:21:22 PM »

Here are some links of Argentine Chamame being played on the Club model accordion. While all types of accordions seem to be used the preferred instrument is a type of club accordion with stradella bass.

The standard Hohner Club lacks a versatile bass side but the treble side is perfect for this music and is a good, low cost learners instrument. Here are some clips of kids playing an old Hohner Club.

You may also have seen Tangobrujo on youtube,he sells accordions and most of them are Clubs.
This one's a Club IIIM like mine http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BtGpqByNxhc&feature=related
