would a music hall song count or would that be too obvious?

I've just got this you see and there's some tunes in C I thought I'd try on the one row.

Very nice, jwf, I've always known it as 'Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White' from a recording by Eddie Calvert.

Ian

Eek! I've just posted the same comment on Onmvoice. I played this on trumpet when I was a nipper, much easier than O Mein Papa!

Here we go:

Handel: Minuet from Berenice

... and of course, it was an ideal opportunity to use the streb and the church organ samples! It's like having a church organ anywhere you want one (I do weddings - very reasonable rates!) Played in Bb/Eb (sorry for the slightly antisocial key; if anyone wants to try this in a more sociable key I have an mp3 of it played in G (not so accurately though... *lots* of typos) somewhere around here - send me a message.

I am aware that the combination of melodeon face and the headphones I'm wearing give me a passing resemblance to Droopy by the way.  ::)

Cheers,

Clive

Thoroughly enjoyed that, Clive.

PS
Although I rather incline to the view that a melodeon ought to sound like a melodeon it certainly illustrates what the Streb is capable of.  Perhaps the melodeon fairy will bring me one one day.

Hello Clive, the whispering ability of the streb is a real reason for pleasure.
As for myself, it put me where i needed to be just now. thanks alot!

For this month, I figured it might be fun to have a go at some recent(ish) chart music.  Yep, probably a bad idea, but if I'd chosen something more suitable, it probably wouldn't have qualified.

So, here's an attempt at Kasabian's "Fire", as played on melodeon and the all-important foot-controlled shaky egg:
