EATMT Traditional Music Day, Stowmarket, 4th September 2010
« on: August 21, 2010, 04:20:33 PM »

Here it is:
EATMT Traditional Music Day

Hands up who's going!?

I'll be running one of the big session slots some of the time and also running a C-session too. Also will have a stint running the Absolute Beginners drop-in, try-a-melodeon session.

So do please say 'Hi' if you are there, especially if we haven't previously met.

Although I'd honestly rather be at the South Bank that weekend, I should be there somehow.  (:)

We'll be sessioning when we can. In C if necessary...
On Friday night we're running a session at the John O'Gaunt, Sutton (the one near Sandy and Biggleswade, not the one near Ely). If anyone's passing though on the way to Stowmarket you'll be welcome... mostly tunes, mostly English.

I'll be there, but with no stall this year (I'm getting used to this  ;D) so will be cavorting in sessions with Steve and helping out with the step-dancing.

I think Katie has roped me in to help out on the Veteran Records stall at some point. Free CDs anyone?  >:E

I'll take that as a no, then.
How about yer mother?  :-*

Seriously, have you learned Steve's "Trip to Stowmarket" yet?
I've been too busy learning "Postman's Knock" for a Larkrise recording, this Friday. (thanks for the dots, Lester).
I'll try and learn "T to S" next week as we'll need it for the C session.

my brain can only handle four tunes at a time to memorize and when I learn a new lot the old lot falls out of my brain. So I'm trying to decide which will be the lucky few to practice incessantly in the hope they will stick.....and on which instrument.
