The 2nd and 3rd parts of The Breakdown and the 1st part of Marquis of Lorne are just as good, and all in the same key too so no problem on a one-row, why not try them Rees, you might end up with a completely new favourite tune ;)

Katie and Steve wrote the book "Before the Night Was Out"
Thanks Rees, but I can't take that much credit for the book. All I did was the transcriptions. Katie and John Howson were the real authors and the driving force behind the book, and quite a few other people played a big part too, especially Jeannie Harris, who checked my hand-written transcriptions in minute detail and then transfered them into Sibelius for printing; also Taz Tarry who played a large part in the management, editing and assembly of the final version and getting it in to print.

Aye, lad, but that was some serious spadework, almost like being down the mines.
Oh, I forgot, you've been there, done that.  :D

Credit where credit is due.
As a practitioner of the dark art of East Anglianism, I have to say that this book has made my life a lot easier.

Ladydetemps has sent me links to a couple of videos she put on YouTube, of the ceilidh in the little marquee. You can't see much of Mary and me playing but the sound isn't too bad and the dancers are having fun:
