« on: September 17, 2010, 08:37:04 AM »

Does any body have the dots/ABC for this Moresque? I tried JC tune finder and the session with no luck :'(
Maybe it has another name? I found it on the Hammersmith Mossis home page here:-

Do have a listen to that link by the way.  The World Famous Hammersmith Morris Men dancing with Ian D of this parish on melodeon leading, I think, a 140 strong military brass band.

It's the 16th century Mourisque (Mohrentanz, Moorish dance) from Tielman Susato.

Trouble is, every time I play Moresque I can still hear that sound -- and even if there are three of us playing, we're still 138 instruments short... :-(
