With having so many tunes in my head - I often play the 'A' part of one and 'B' part of another - and they fit  !!  :)
It gets tricky when someone asks you the title of the tune though ???
You mean like "The New Rigged Jenny Lind" (she's just been down to the New Year's sales)  :D

Getting my coat now.....
sounds like a new game...like one song to the tune of another. ;)

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

I seem to be in the Melodeon Zone tonight.

I am relaxed and the tunes just seem to be flowing out of my little 1-row Hohner which I keep here in the kitchen.

Back to my Melodeon Meditation.

A well known tune/ words mix is 'Amazing Grace' sung to 'House of The Rising Sun' examples on You Tube.

or the A part of one with the B part of another -    I can do  it  entirely without engaging the brain!

An ancient and honourable custom in the halcyon days of the Gosforth (Newcastle) Traditional Music Club was the face to face singing competition. Basically you got to stand opposite eg Jim Mageean - noses about 1" apart and sing completely different songs "loudly" until someone hesitated, deviated, or repeated on the 3+ pints he'd drunk beforehand  :P

I suspect F2F could be adapted for melodeons  :||::|||: with careful choice of tune might even be musically entertaining?  :|glug

I have vague memories of Jim from waaaay back, I think my ears are still ringing, or was it specifically him that did my top notes for me?
A face off - That must have been some sight to see...
yours somewhat impressed

I think I'm starting to get most of the notes in roughly the right order...... sometimes!

Too kind, yes the same Jim, still in our teens. Our face-off was
declared a draw when the audience could face no more of it  :Ph
