One of the things I love about the fiddle is that it jets feels as if it wants to join in.  It's whole body vibrates as I'm getting it out of its case if there are other musicians already playing.
Have been puzzling over this one for a couple of days now. I've come to the conclusion that there is a typo here and Theo meant to say 'jets reels' meaning that his fiddle can play reels really reely fast. (A bit like at an Irish session in Sheffield where I once poked my head round the door to see what was going on, and then quickly retreated again).

Yes, the day of my third (and second most horrible) exam, meaning that after noon I'll never have to think about fluid mechanics again and also my birthday :(
Good luck with the exam!

If they are PJ's, why do you refer to them as "my"?

I am surprised that, as a self confessed pedant, you started a sentence with a conjunction  >:E

A preposition is also a bad word to end a sentence with.

Further more, the Bible version which was used in the example is properly "The Authorised Version" and NOT "The King James Version" which is a trans-Atlantic mis-conception WHICH I HATE!!!!!   :Ph

(Better now? - there, there - Calm down dear!)

But the KJV is the one I read for fun...like NOT for work which tends to be NRSV or NIV...King James only 'Authorised' his version to be read in churches...not in my house...therefore I am actually reading an unauthorised bible...which makes me a heretic, which is what all my tutors said when I was doing my theological training anyway  >:E

They told me at school I was a heretic, and that was without any theological training.  :o

But, if you want "erotic", try The Song of Songs, in almost any translation. (I agree with you Al, by the way on versions - my working one is NEB though).   :|glug

There's nothing quite like locking yourself out of your house to make you feel like a complete idiot...

....actually, yes, there is, writing a cheque for £75 to a locksmith who can barely conceal his laughter.... :'(
