Temperatures and melodeons

Lester:
Cold is also a problem. I once turned a Catagnari Lilly into a very expensicve shakey egg by going from a hot pub to a freezing dance spot and playing a big pull chord and all the reeds fell off.  :'(

rees:
If only we could find a way of turning shaky eggs into Castagnaris.  ;)

You probably just need to warm them up the right amount - Delia should know how ;D

Dazbo:
I find that using those silver sheets that you put inside the car windows that face the sun helps keep the temp down too (and if possible) leave windows open or sun roof a crack.  Try to park so that the boot (assuming that's where the box is stored) is facing away from the sun during the hot part of the day.  It's surprising though how even on really hot days how cool the boot can stay but better safe than sorry.

Québécois:
By curiosity, what is the melting point of the wax used in a melodeon?
