tune finder link
« on: November 15, 2010, 05:54:09 AM »

Some kind person posted a link to a site where you can insert the first few notes of a tune and it would then supply a list of all registered tunes that start that way, good for finding the name of an unknown tune. However I didn't save the link and I can no longer find it.
Can anyone help?

Louise

Or http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/cgi/abc/tunefind where you can even do a contour search. You don't need to know the notes, just whether the melody goes up or down.
