My squeeze blog
« on: January 30, 2011, 11:44:54 PM »

Hey, folks,

Don't know exactly where this goes, or if it's right to post here, but in a fit of pique I started a melodeon blog (or accordion blog, depending on how you roll.)  In fact, in my second post, I referenced this board in a way that, hopefully will be received with affection.

Anyway, the blog is

http://accordeonaire.blogspot.com/

Hope you enjoy.

Very interesting, and a good upsum of the British melodeon (:)

I just love the Giordi.  Wish I had got one when they were available!!

Good luck with the blog.

There was a thread some time back where the poster was asking for folk related blogs (I think). Add one to the list!

Actually ... it was against my doctoral program.  The homework was getting to me.

That's perfectly normal and acceptable behaviour.  ;D

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

As far as I can tell, it's a Castignari four-row chromatic accordion.  Definitely unisonorous.  The basses also indicate that to be the case.  Quite beautiful.
