You know who you are!
« on: December 27, 2010, 03:37:39 PM »

My littlest sister gave me a Tshirt with the words "Save a Tree. Play by Ear" which she told me that she had bought at Bedworth Festival from a man who sold melodeons.  :||: She's a classical musician and thought I would love it. She was perfectly correct! Thank you whoever you are.  ;D ;D

I'm a Yorkie!
My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

I'll wager it was Pete Grassby. It sounds like his sort of thing, and it's in his local area.
There's a website but it's very sparse!

I think I was the only melnet member at Bedworth in November (in the snow). And yes, Pete Grassby was wearing as well as selling a Play-By-Ear t-shirt.

Happy New Year to all
