And, just having done some practice, I haven't had to haul straps back up every time I turn a page. Great!
I just knew someone had the answer and at no extra cost - thanks again, Chris.

Wow, strad, a convert at last -  I'd just about despaired about ever convincing anybody to take up the idea!  As I said a year or two ago, it immediately improved my playing dramatically, and in lots of unforeseen ways.  I now even find that playing standing up is easy - with right foot keeping time on the case turned sideways - and I now usually play like that in the band.

What amazes me is people like Philippe Bruneau who can play no straps at all and can sit a three-row Hohner on his knee and play a reel 90 miles and hour and the accordion barely moves!!!
