Princess Royal - on a Hohner SMEG MW-01
« on: February 06, 2011, 04:25:58 PM »

Princess Royal played on my self named "Hohner SMEG MW-01"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBt7Mscy6Oo

"Hohner SMEG MW-01" is an Analogue , Unsampled , Self key switching (called ability) melodeon, which sounds like! ..... a melodeon!!! ;D
MW stands for Martyn White (of this very parish) who is a box tuning genious! :||:
So designed to confuse and amaze :-)

Bit of a one trick pony, isn't it? I men, how many tunes can you play on a minor box?

I had a go on John Spiers' minor-tuned box once. It did my head in.
Kudos to DTN for resisting the brain-scrambling, and for working out how to play a major-scale version of the tune on the same box  ;)
