'Modern' tunes?
« on: April 02, 2011, 04:26:02 PM »

As a new starter here I was wondering what the policy is on 'modern' tunes  :-\

Reason is ... when I started composition a few years back one of my first tunes written for guitar and whistle, inspired by the Tall Ships race, is one of those that I would love to hear on a melodeon.
As I'm not able to play myself I wondered if any of the members here would like to tackle it, just out of interest. It is in D.
If anyone is interested I will post a link to it.

 ;)

Fair enough.

Find the tune here:
http://www.kara-moon.com/index.php?play_song_id=4522

and I'll attach a pdf of the dots. The first page is the main theme and the second is an approximation of the (improvised) bridge section.

Thanks, Larry.
Glad you like it.
The more I listen to this the more I feel that it would translate to a melodeon.  :|||:
