We'll be slightly north and east, but not far at all.
Haven't much idea about the area, hence the questions.
After our hols we'll both have more idea  ;)
take care

Well, we had a great holiday but no music whatsoever, except for someone practising a bagpipe of some description down a back street. I've followed such sounds before and have found sessions, gigs, band practices, etc. but no luck this time.

Back to the original thread - I've now got so many tunes to try and get to grips with that I have to make a decision to not look at tune/melodeon websites. Maybe I've come down with TAD. At the moment I'm trying to learn: Many a wild night, Along the banks of the river and the Christmas - polkas; The newlyweds, Valse de vent, Valpigan and the Tender trap - waltzes; Many, many jigs, including, but not limited too - Nina's and Oblique, both by Niall Vallely, Danbury hill, Maison de glace, Moth in the lantern, Willie's trip to Toronto, I buried my wife snd I danced on her grave, Muineira De Casu, etc. etc. The list goes on, but I am spreading my practise time far too thinly and not achieving very much with any one tune or set of tunes. Sooooo many tunes - soooooo little time.

Jigs today I think - in A maj., and D, and E min, and......... arggghhhh.

Thanks for the update KP - looks like a relaxing time by the pool then!

Also back to the original thread:
Getting hit on the last clash of a stick dance..... and over a month later I'm just getting feeling back into the end joint of my first finger right hand. Hasn't had too much effect on the meloeodn, but it's only now i'm beginning to feel what I'm playing on the 'tina. Still, least my finger fits between the buttons now  :D
Still, someone's got to  :M
cheers
