oh sorry, should have written an explanation.
Well quite often i wonder things like "what is the bellow measure on a...." or "hmm that great topic about tuning" and finding them by searching is real hard since there are dozens of threads containg words like "tuning" or "bellows"
By havin a separate category with links to accurate topics it would be so much easier.
Or have an expanded FAQ in every category, since many questions are repeated over and over, and by gather informartion from many threads into a nailed post would be more effext.

but i dont know.

Are you offering to take on the work of organising such a reference page?

It's surely less work if the greybeards here simply 'reference' the old threads as the new enquiry comes up.

There is a risk in this. The second law of melodynamics predicts that we would then eventually and inexorably  exhaust all possible topics and the forum would end up in a sort of white noise soup  of meaningless chatter and cyberbabble.

So the fallibility of human memory may be a good thing?  :|glug

Being serious for a moment(!) another practical problem is that the content of ant reference section becomes to some extent one persons take on what is "accepted fact" and so simply becomes another topic for discussion!

That sounds like a quote from The Hitch-Hikers Guide to The Galaxy,  Anahata... ;)

Well i didnt thought about that....
But this idea striked me when i was looking for a post wich contained all hohner models bellow measurements, and that is a somewhat fixed truth.

I understand your need for that type of reference information, but then it becomes another practical problem - how to organise the reference information so that you can find what you want. These are simple questions to ask, but the solutions can be large and complicated.  For example if you want bellows dimensions for all Hohner models there are 100s of Hohner models, and then there are all the other makes too.  At first sight it seems easy but if you are volunteering.
