Hello,
I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Yannick, I live in Brittany and I've been playing the melodeon for about 10 years. I follow the Melodeon.net website for a while, actually I'm building a similar website, mainly for french speaking players, which aims to review the melodeon models. The website is currently on maintenance, but I welcome any volunteer (speaking french, of course) to beta-test the site.
Anyway, I'm not here to advertise. I currently owns a Handry 18 (custom G/C/# layout), a C#/D Hohner Double-Ray and a Hohner Club IIB C/F, plus an old Saltarelle Solstice 18 that I don't play much. I play mainly tunes from Brittany (with a kind interest for the eastern part of the area), but I'm also interested of all kinds of traditional music.
I look forword to discuss with the melodeon community of this website.

(and please, don't hesitate to criticize my english, I'll try to do my best not to make your eyes jump when reading my posts, but being a non-native speaker...)

Hi Yannick, welcome to Melnet, I think you will find a lot of friends here. Your command of the English language is far better than my French I am ashamed to say :)

Thanks for your kinds replies !
I'm OK for any kind of music exchange : the breton music I know quite well (without being a proper specialist either), but I must say I know very little of the english music or the music from Great-Britain. The only albums I have are from Andy Cutting and Chris Wood, plus some from Karen Tweed (one with Ian Carr, the other from Ian Carr and the two previous artists - The Two Duos Quartet I believe -  and the May Monday series). So I would be happy to learn a bit more about that. Of course I'm here for anyone who would want an advice regarding the music from Brittany. I'm not a big fan of tabs (I usually learn from the collected material), but I read them and can make them if need :).
