Set practise pieces for BC 2-Row Box
« on: September 25, 2011, 09:58:57 PM »

Hi

Are there any music written on the forum anywhere for practising scales, embellishments and ornamentation for Irish and Scottish pieces. The idea is to get familiar with the buttons and sight read.

I am new to playing the box. I play big and small Scottish Pipes.

Also, is there anyone teaching BC Irish style in Bucks or north London?

Welcome aboard!

Take a look at the layouts here http://forum.melodeon.net/index.php/page,keyboard_2_row.html

If you can identify your layout you should be able to work out scales ... just an idea, print off 3 copies and mark up the scales of A/D/G for a start... enjoy!
