Hello, Blogmaster - I have ticked the box which supposedly logs me in "forever", but I have to log in each time I go to Melnet - is this Melnet, or my computer?

Your computer I think. Have you got something in place that clears out cookies, or stops them being created in the first place? That's how the autologin mechanism works...
