Another great day yesterday.  (:)
My workshops have left me with brain ache and plenty of homework.  :||:
The evening concert was a delightful mixture of music, song and dance from some of the tutors.
And it was nice to meet up with other melnetters and those 'familiar faces' from previous years.

Big thanks to Katie for organising a brilliant M&M!
.... and Jan/Chas for sorting the fri session again.  (:)

I absolutely promise to make a You Tube video sooner or later with Igelkottaskinnet including singing!!! Even if it means making the video at home.
Swedish pronunciation isn't so bad by the way. I think the most difficult thing is to pronounce Juringius, lol! (not counting the y, u and sch, sh and the likes)

Susi?  (:)

Well. We crossed rows. And then crossed back again. Fingers all knotted now. Then we cossed rows in the afternoon too.

I Like it.  :|glug

Never been before but I really enjoyed it. The workshops are very short so not that much time to learn new things but lots of things to practice at home. The Squeezebox Concert was a joy, and it was nice to meet a few melnetters.
A big thanks to Katie and her crew, Jan and Chas for organising the Friday session and Graham for the loan of a banjo.

Sounds - and looks - like a good time was had by all! Sorry to have missed it, but you can't go to everything. I really will try for next year......

Once more it was a lovely day, and I would echo the thanks to Katie and John Howson, and all the volunteers. Great concert in the evening too.

It was also nice to meet up with friends old and new, many of them from here, but I am just a little saddened that some of you who were there and whom I have not yet met didn't introduce yourselves to me. I was around during the tea breaks lunch time and concert, and was wearing my tutor's name badge prominently. It would have been nice to have got to know Louise, Strigulino, Paul Q (did you sell your Sander?) and some others too. I don't bite.

Where's Mrs FreeReeder then? :D
(...didn't get an opportunity to extol the virtues of MelNet ;) )

Didn't see any MelNet badges ... (I wasn't wearing one either ;D)

Sorry Steve, every time I saw you, you were in deep conversation and I didn't want to be rude and butt in, but next time I will.

Please do Louise!  (:)

The general hubbub which accompanies Melodeons and More is due to its being just a single day event, but so popular, with a huge amount packed into it. It's impossible to get to see everyone and do everything that one might want, as well as attending/teaching all the workshops, etc. This is not meant as a criticism of the organisers (perish the thought!) but is simply an inevitable consequence of the day's resounding success.
