At The Big Accordian Weekend they played - several times - Josephine Butterfield which I LOVED and must try and learn, and the CEG which I am drooling about just thinking about it. Beautiful.

Could someone point me to the abc's for these two tunes?

thanks

CEG is actually called Grins Hans Jasspodspolska, and there are dots hanging around here somewhere...

Why? It's what LvB wrote and it fits the words of Schiller's poem An die Freude. Note especially the tied F# (F2-) over the bar-line at the end of line 3 which goes with the first syllable of 'Alle'.

Freude, schöner Götterfunken,
Tochter aus Elysium!
Wir betreten feuertrunken,
Himmlische, Dein Heiligtum.

Deine Zauber binden wieder,
Was die Mode streng geteilt,
Alle Menschen werden Brüder,
Wo Dein sanfter Flügel weilt.
