Biscuits bearing white chocolate melodeons
« on: January 03, 2012, 07:18:25 PM »

This seems pretty silly, I admit but I can't keep it to myself any longer...

I discovered today that a significant fraction of Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Swiss chocolate hazelnut meringue biscuits come with a white chocolate motif in the form of a melodeon. See the attached pic.

Sadly, they don't seem to be on the website, so I guess they can't be ordered online and delivered to your door. But next time you're in the shop, why not dally in the choccie biscuits section and see what you can find?

A chocolate box, certainly. Not bad biscuits, either. A more-ish kind of product that seems particularly relevant to Melodeons & More, I'd say...

I've looked at the ingredients, and I must say they're a good reed...

I think this calls for more research. Any volunteers? Gavin

At least it's slightly more useful than a chocolate fireguard...

Sorry to disappoint all you melodeonistas - but a close inspection reveals that the accordion in question is a variant form of PIANO accordion! Now that surely takes the biscuit!

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

PS - referring to recent threading, was this an approved usage of "melodeonista"?  >:E
