Anyone tried a Bergflodt melodeon?
« on: January 15, 2012, 07:34:10 PM »

I've been on his website and he's got some great looking boxes with soundclips but i was wondering if anyone on this forum has personally tried one or even owns one.
There's a nice clip of David Munnelly trying one out on youtube and he's flying with it!

No, but they certainly sound great and would have one
without hesitation if the circumstances were right.
It seems Bergflodt has some magic!

The Bergflodt website hasn't been updated for quite some time. There is much more info, both video clips and picture albums covering recent activity, on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=1226742509

They look like really nice boxes. Just looked through his photo gallery. Looks like he makes his own bellows.

He certainly does 'detail'. Attach the latest creation from his FB page.

3 v. 12 basses GC, rosewood/mahogany. 4 treble register combinations, 3rd and low bass switches. An extra switch on the upper side of the grill determines whether the two uppermost treble buttons are to be c#/d# and bb/g# (accidentals) or the low notes in the G and C scale.

But not had my hands on one :P

That G/C is one of the prettiest boxes I've ever seen and I lust for one.
