I seem to recall someone suggesting that you pop the box into one of those insulated cool bags when it's in the car...!

The ingenuity astounds me.  Once you're completely hooked, you won't even consider leaving it behind.  Luckily there is a soundproof room where I work!

If it's in a cool box, the hoods might not realise it's a melodeon and steal it by mistake.  ;D

Worrying, isn't it? :D

I think cold is probably more of an issue than heat! Perhaps I should just give up and bring it right into the office...mind you, have already threatened to do that on Christmas Eve  :o ;D

Sorry, derailing topics again....

I know the joke about leaving the car unlocked and by the time I got back it was full of them....

I once left the rear door of my hatchback unlocked overnight - too much enjoyment and three boxes in the boot.  Living in a very salubrious neighbourhood, I came out next morning and seeing the hatch up, I fully expected to find it empty with a hot steaming "thank you" turd, middle of the back seat.  All three cases were opened, but obviously the guy knew there was not going to be money offered at the local pub for these!  An obsolete mobile phone, though...

And (is it Lester?) played a box that was too cold and the wax shattered.

You referring to my Castagnari Lilly Shakey Egg?

I was indeed that man  :'(
