Nice, just shows what can be achieved with a small wardrobe strapped to one's chest. ;D

Here's Mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-VZuamCx60&feature=related

Chris
Congratulations on choosing a clip by Wullie Scott from Dumbarton, one of Scotland's accordion prodigies. The boy's only 16, and plays frequently at Accordion & Fiddle clubs round our way, as well as winning prizes at national accordion festivals. He brought out a CD over a year ago, available from Scottish music outlets such as Concorde Music of Perth.

Coincidentally, in this clip he's playing Will Starr's "Jacqueline Waltz", which I'm currently trying to master.

OK it's CBA not PA, but this is my favourite. If I had my time over again, I would learn this instrument. (Shock horror heresy!) But I'm too old for new tricks now. And besides, I'm getting too engrossed in the intricacies of the anglo concertina (Shock horror heresy no.2 !). Enough - on with the clip.....

Look out for the lovely Mona Lisa smile at the very end. :)

Thanks Bill.
It's nice to know that Wullie is indeed a brilliant prodigy and not just another kid using his video game fingers to put us all to shame.I've listened to "The Jaqueline" dozens of times over the last few days and I'm just amazed at how good he is,his many other clips are well worth a few listens.

This  is definitely on my list of tunes I'd like to learn.I've just lent out my Will Starr Musette album(I think it's on there),so I'll have to learn from Wullie's version,I just love his jump to the Bb at the end.I'm not sure how I'll do that with my ADG  ;D

Was that when Rolf Harris' one caught fire?  ???

Yeah, and it could only be done by Finns!   While looking for them on youtube I stumbled across the Austrian Harmonica Band. Awful, horrible yuk.

Not as polished, but the Irish lot aren't bad: Iron Lung at NHL H2004, Brendan, Rick and Mick. They even accompany themselves on English concertinas sometimes too: Rick Epping and Mick Kinsella in Tutty's bar Hollywood:o

Channel surfing on youtube I found this: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=RGufLMmq_bU

It's classified as 18+ but its all in good taste.. no nudity or swearing. I'd almost go so far as to call that art. :)

I found it all a bit 'unheimlich' - sort of mad-woman accordionist in the basement, with obviously a sado-masochistic tendency given that she was playing topless!

I was just wondering if there's anyone who hasn't seen this video yet.

http://vimeo.com/191493

Makes me smile every time I watch it  ;D. Apologies to any piano accordion players out there.
