7 ate 9, what a lovely tune and what a beautiful *run-through". hope you get well soon!
"Les deux soeurs" is an old french valse (probably Lorraine), my family used to play it (and my mum and my aunt used to shout "au bou du monde" (through thick and thin), when they began to play it... https://soundcloud.com/user482756608/les-deux-soeur-au-bou-du-monde

Nice, Ferret, and thanks for the well wishing from you and Chris too. Is that a Bb Eb box? I can't find the sheet music anywhere obvious - a few different tunes with that name. If you have it I'd be keen to see it.

My box is in Bb/F, this is quite common around here... my grandpa used to play this tune on his box (a more Schwyzerörgel-ish instument, as far as I remember...), and as I am more nostalgic in autumn I remembered it...

So, I went with:

StONEy Steps
https://youtu.be/3fosOvfri-U

to meet this month's theme... and welcome to another episode of 'I copy something cool that Anahata did'. I'll copy someone else soon, I swear! Anyway, this tune is boss and I guess is probably one of the main things that made helped make G scale / Anahata layout, as popular as it is?

When it came to learning it, I think I mostly picked up the tune at from one of Nick Barber's english tune books, but, realistically my goal was always lift a lot of the aspects from some of those great performances you can find if you go looking. I guess I'm not like, super completely happy with everything that I've packed in so far, like I feel I could probably find something fancier to do that 'push basses harder' and a few little ornaments.

Allegedly, this is a hornpipe, but, I dunno, it doesn't seem to want to come out like that so much? If you slow it down a bit, it's not really all that tough of a tune to get your fingers around - with a bit of speed to it though, it is rather relentless... which I kinda really like? You can slow it down a bit and get a little bit of hornpipey wiggle into it, though.

Stops - everything is on
